Like a Piece of White Paper
By Heri Cahyono
Trust is an important thing
Must always be planted in the heart
Whether it's belief in yourself
or trust in others
When we put our trust in others,
our expectations of him are very high
Expect what he does
Always in line with what we think
Giving the trust that we trust
Handing over the responsibility to him
It doesn't matter that sometimes it's normal
But sometimes there are secret things
But sometimes we put our trust in the wrong
It turns out that he is the one who makes us fail
Just because the people we trust
seem unfriendly to us
That trust shattered into pieces
Like a piece of white paper
Which is now starting to look wrinkled
Full of scribbles and dirty with sand
The trust that should be guarded
Even gives a wound in the heart
The hope that used to be high on him
Now only pain in the heart
Maybe that's what matures us
Become an even better person
Maybe that's God's way
we get closer to Him
