#Poetry 10 - Begging For Sustenance

Begging For Sustenance

By Heri Cahyono

Begging For Sustenance

Tired of stepping legs looking for direction

Thirst and thirst are getting more pronounced

The mind doesn't know where to go

The heart is restless beyond measure

The lonely space is a dream place

Hope there is some hidden sustenance

Hopefully, I await

The distribution of the sustenance of the holy angel

You won't give me this morning

In the afternoon I wait for you not to share

How long must I be like this?

Begging for sustenance from the Divine

Hope it's hot, You give it rain

Hoping bustling, You give lonely

Where should I ask?

Apart from You, My God
